Astronaut Buzz Aldrin Descends Steps of Lunar Module
Astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr. (Buzz Aldrin), lunar module pilot, descends the steps of the Lunar Module (LM) ladder as he prepares to walk on the Moon. This photograph was taken with a 70mm lunar surface camera during the Apollo 11 extravehicular activity (EVA)on 20 July 1969. This photo is unedited-note the crosshairs at various points.
